Teaching in Hainan, China

The "Seven Sisters in China" Project

"Learning Journey in China" is designed to invite 10 English native speakers and 10 Chinese students to partner together to teach English in two middle schools of Hainan province in China. Our program aims to provide an opportunity for local students to interact with English native speakers in order to increase their confidence to speak English, and eventually improve the students’ English communication skills. Our program seeks to encourage students and teachers in China to reconsider their approach to learning and teaching English, while simultaneously fostering reflection in the current English education in China among all participants and local teachers. This project is jointly offered by Horizon and Seven Sisters in China.
